Terms of Service

Welcome to Multivision. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our digital television distribution (SITI Cable TV & GTPL Cable TV) and optical fiber internet services (SITI Broadband FTTH) provided by Multivision (Proprietor: Sudha Madhab Pal), located at Patpur, Patpur Hari Mandir, Bankura, West Bengal - 722101.

1. Service Provision & Subscription Activation

• Services are provided subject to optical fiber cable feasibility at the subscriber's location in Bankura.
• Subscribers must provide valid address proof and photo identity (Aadhaar / Voter ID / Passport) at the time of connection setup as mandated by TRAI and DoT regulations.
• Subscribers agree to subscribe to their chosen channel bouquet, à la carte channels, or broadband data plan as per published tariffs.

2. Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) & Hardware

• All hardware installed at the subscriber's location—including SITI/GTPL Digital Set-Top Boxes (STB), Smart Cards, Optical Network Terminals (ONT), and drop fiber lines—remain the property of Multivision unless purchased outright by the customer.
• The subscriber is responsible for maintaining equipment in good working order and safeguarding it against power surges, water ingress, or physical damage.
• In case of subscription termination, all loaned hardware must be returned in functional condition to our Bankura office.

3. Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

• Broadband and cable television connections are intended exclusively for residential or designated commercial use at the registered installation address.
• Commercial re-transmission, illegal redistributions, unauthorized signal tapping, or public unauthorized screening of copyrighted broadcasts is strictly prohibited.
• Broadband connectivity must not be utilized for malicious cyber activities, spamming, hosting prohibited content, or illegal peer-to-peer distribution.

4. Billing, Due Dates & Service Disconnection

• Monthly subscription fees are billed in advance. Renewal payments are due on or before the monthly expiry date.
• All invoices include applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST 18%) under GSTIN 19AFKPP9139G1ZV.
• Failure to recharge before the due date may lead to automatic signal deactivation by the upstream MSO server. Reconnection will be restored immediately upon settlement of the pending renewal.

5. Limitation of Liability & Force Majeure

Multivision makes every reasonable effort to maintain 99.9% uptime. However, Multivision shall not be liable for service disruptions caused by events beyond our reasonable control (Force Majeure), such as national grid power cuts, optical fiber cuts by municipal road excavations, severe cyclonic storms, or satellite downlink failures from national broadcasters.

6. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes, claims, or legal proceedings arising out of or in connection with our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Bankura, West Bengal, India.
